first of all, I just wanna say I'm sorry in advance.

okay, now that that's out of the way:

a couple of days ago I saw that flash forward was a thing & decided i wanna do a ripoff of nene's interactive suicide.

downloaded flash cs3 right away, installed it, and the moment i opened it a wave of nostalgia hit me.

i was suddenly a kid in middleschool, fucking around in software i don't understand, making dumb garbage & having a fucking blast doing it.

so, naturally, i shifted gears and decided to do a windows parody since i love winXP & flash windows parodies were my jam back in the day.

as soon as i decided that, a dangerous idea crossed my mind literally instantaneously:

make a "Flash" folder, and have old stuff inside.

so, i got to work:

dug through my newgrounds dump (oh man OOOOHHHH MAN DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED) & hit up two buddies who i go a long way back with ( @Krutches & @MihaP ) and made them do the same.

that first night, when the three of us were going through our dumps & sharing links to old stuff was absolutely surreal. i implore everyone to do the same.

i took a bunch of .swf files we shared with eachother that night (45 of them!!!!), decompiled them & started throwing them into a single, huge, file. ALL DONE USING MY AS2 SKILLS FROM BACK WHEN I WAS 12

flash did not like this.

i ended up increasing my page file to 600gb(!!!!!!) before i finally gave up on using CS3 & tried CS6 - which worked flawlessly - if only i hadn't thought of this literally just a few hours ago...

either way, whatever, it's a bunch of stuff, there's achievements, there's references to dated memes, there's edgy humor, it's all there - it's a genuine goddamn 2012 experience AND YOU BETTER LOVE IT
